Harbour in the City


As the city grew in 19th century, Alsancak Harbour remained in the centre of the city. This creates interesting scenes like tkis one.

    Wonderful photo...reminds me of one of those movies where a storm creates monster waves that wash ships into and through cities!

    If I didn't know it is the harbour there and if I forced my level of imagination, I'd say it is a super-rich guy who wants to park his ship just in front of his house. :D
